Everest Base Camp & Kalapathar Trek - 14 Days

Main attraction:
Homeland of Sherpa people; Buddhist cultural experiences; an ultimate dream for all adventurous people to see Everest; a famous mountaineering region; unforgettable panoramic views; well preserved vast bio-diversity.

Accessibility:
Round trip from Lukla, the trek starts from and returns to Lukla. The flight takes about 35 minutes.

The Route:
Maximum altitude 5545m. Kalapathar; one acclimatization day; about 5-6 hours walking per day; trail moderate to strenuous.

Best season:
October thru December, April and May.

Facility:
Well-managed teahouse lodges.
Itinerary:
Day- 01: Fly to Lukla (2840m), hike to Phakding (2610m)
Day- 02: Phakding (2610m) – Namche Bazaar (3440m)
Day- 03: Acclimatization day at Namche Bazaar
Day- 04: Namche Bazaar - Tengboche (3860m)
Day- 05: Tengboche to Dingboche.
Day- 06: Dingboche to Lobuche.
Day- 07: Lobuche to Gorekshep to Everest Base Camp.
Day- 08: Gorekshep to Everest Base Camp.
Day- 09: Gorekshep to Kalapathar back to Lobuche.
Day- 10: Lobuche to Tengboche.
Day- 11: Namche to Phakding.
Day- 12: Extra day.
Day- 13: Phakding to Lukla
Day- 14: Fly to Kathmandu
