Everest Base Camp Trek - 12 Days

Accessibility:
Round trip from Lukla; trek starts from and returns to Lukla; flight takes about 35 minutes from Kathmandu.
The Route:
Maximum altitude 5545 m., Kalapathar; one acclimatization day recommended; 5-6 hours walking per day; trail moderate to strenuous.
Itinerary:
Day- 01: Fly to Lukla (2840m), hike to Phakding (2610m)
Day- 02: Phakding (2610m) - Namche Bazaar (3440m)
Day- 03: Acclimatization day at Namche Bazaar
Day- 04: Namche Bazaar (3440m) – Tengboche (3860m)
Day- 05: Tengboche (3860m) – Dingboche (4410m)
Day- 06: Dingboche (4410m) - Lobuche (4910m)
Day- 07: Lobuche (4910m) – Gorakshep (5140m)
Day- 08: Morning hike from Gorakshep to Everest Base Camp & Kalapathar (5545m), return to Lobuche (4910m)
Day- 09: Lobuche - Tengboche
Day- 10: Tengboche - Jorsale (2800m)/ Phakding
Day- 11: Jorsale / Phakding - Lukla (2840m)
Day- 12: Fly to Kathmandu
